Nuevas exposiciones en el CEART para el puente de mayo 30-04-2025

Los jóvenes artistas fuenlabreños y fuenlabreñas, de entre 7 y 16 años, muestran aquí la calidad y variedad de sus obras.

Por último, los más rezagados pueden visitar la exposición ‘Tesoros de Egipto’, una exposición compuesta por 140 reproducciones y recreaciones de piezas arqueológicas, desde la estatua del faraón Kefren cuyo original se encuentra en el Museo del Cairo, hasta la Piedra Rosetta del Museo Británico.

El CEART ha ampliado su horario para facilitar las visitas, permaneciendo abierto de manera ininterrumpida los días de fiestas, los sábados y los domingos entre las 11 y 21 horas. Los viernes y víspera de festivo su horario es de 17 a 21 horas.

Additionally, those who are lagging behind can visit the exhibition ‘Treasures of Egypt’, which consists of 140 reproductions and recreations of archaeological pieces, from the statue of Pharaoh Khephren whose original is in the Cairo Museum, to the Rosetta Stone from the British Museum.

The CEART has extended its hours to facilitate visits, remaining open continuously on holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 am to 9 pm. On Fridays and the eve of holidays, its hours are from 5 pm to 9 pm.

The May bridge invites you to take a walk and is a good time to explore the new exhibitions offered by CEART and those that have been around for a while but you haven’t had a chance to visit yet.

In Hall C, we find the intriguing sculptures of Gabriel Cisneros. He is one of Cuba’s most prominent emerging visual artists. He won the Second Prize of Cuban Contemporary Art Post-it 6 and has participated in over twenty art fairs nationally and internationally. His work is also present in important collections and displayed in countries around the world.

In Hall C Roja, the photographs of ‘El Clot [ 2013 / 2023 ]’ by Jorge López Muñoz are exhibited. In them, this Valencian photographer and visual artist, born in 1975, presents a neighborhood that has almost disappeared, El Clot, where only one block of flats is still standing, occupied by mostly Romani families.

This work is a reflection, a way to explore and understand the world. It won the Descubrimientos PHotoESPAÑA 2022 Award and was part of the official section of the festival in 2023.

Also in Hall C, we have the XXV Spring Salon of the Magenta Cultural Association. It is an exhibition-contest where Magenta’s members can showcase their creativity, presenting a work with complete freedom in terms of theme and technique.

The diversity of styles is a hallmark of this event, which encourages the personal expression of each artist. Although oil is the most used technique, visitors can enjoy a variety of works in watercolor, pastel, drawing, and sculpture, addressing diverse themes such as landscapes, portraits, and abstract compositions.

In the Multipurpose Hall, the works of the participants in the XXII Children’s Drawing and Painting Contest are exhibited. The young artists from Fuenlabrada, between 7 and 16 years old, showcase the quality and variety of their artwork here.
