The mayor of Leganés, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, has announced that the construction of the new ‘Campo de Tiro’ health center, which will be located at 1 Conchalí Street in the Solagua neighborhood, will begin in the coming weeks. The mayor has reported that the City Council has already authorized the start of the construction of this new infrastructure, which will improve the healthcare capacity of the area.
The project has a budget of 7,730,062 euros and will have a construction period of about 20 months, so it is expected to be ready to serve the residents of Solagua by the last quarter of 2026.
The Campo de Tiro health center will be built on an area of 4,864 square meters and will include a reception and administration area, a pediatrics block, extraction area, care facilities, emergency room, lactation room, ultrasounds, minor surgical procedures, general medicine and nursing consultation rooms; as well as rooms for the Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis Unit, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, and a multipurpose consultation room.
Specifically, it will be divided into seven family medicine consultation rooms, seven nursing consultation rooms, four pediatric consultation rooms, one pediatric nursing consultation room, a lactation room, a multipurpose room, an extraction area, a techniques and care room, an emergency room, an ultrasound room, and a minor surgical procedures room. Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis Unit, a Physiotherapy consultation room, and a Dentistry consultation room.

Miguel Ángel Recuenco has detailed that «the Solagua health center will begin construction in the coming weeks for an amount close to eight million euros.
