Madrid impulsa la tecnología en la administración pública con GovTech 4 Impact World Congress 2025

Madrid will host for the second consecutive year the main international forum on e-government and digital transformation in the public sector, GovTech 4 Impact World Congress. From May 12 to 14, the capital becomes the center of international debate on the future of public services, advocating for a model of a smart, sustainable, open city focused on people, in an event that will be attended by the deputy mayor and municipal spokesperson, Inma Sanz.

GovTech 4 Impact World Congress reinforces Madrid’s role as the innovation capital in digital technology applied to the public sector. It will bring together more than 20 countries and international organizations, as well as specialists in different sectors related to digital transformation from all five continents. The City Council of Madrid will have representation from all its government areas, as well as entities such as the Municipal Transport Company (EMT Madrid), Mercamadrid, Tax Agency, Employment Agency, and Valdemingómez Technological Park.

In this second edition, key challenges faced by governments and public administrations will be addressed, and technological solutions that optimize processes, promote citizen participation, and improve public management, effectiveness, and efficiency will be studied. Specialists, government officials, startups focused on e-government, technological leaders, and academics will engage in discussions, connections, and the creation of solutions to drive more efficient, transparent, and inclusive governance.

Challenges such as cybersecurity, service modernization, digital inclusion, public data management, and the role of infrastructure in government transformation will also be tackled, with two special sessions highlighted: one by the European Commission under its GovTech4All program, the Madrid 5F Forum, and the Public Digital Infrastructure of the United Nations.
