Los sábado, domingos y festivos abrirá ininterrumpidamente de 11 a 21 horas
12.100 personas han visitado la exposición Tesoros de Egipto durante los dos últimos fines de semana desde que abrió sus puertas el pasado 14 de febrero.
Todo un éxito de asistencia que ha llevado a la concejalía de Cultura a ampliar el horario de apertura del Centro de Arte Tomás y Valiente (CEART), que a partir de este fin de semana permanecerá abierto de manera ininterrumpida los sábados, domingos y festivos entre 11 y 21 horas.
Los viernes y víspera de fiesta el horario continuará siendo de 17 a 21 horas, siendo esta última la hora de cierre de la sala por lo que la entrada deberá producirse con suficiente antelación.
“Con esta ampliación de horario queremos dar la posibilidad de que más gente pueda acceder a la exposición que está batiendo record de asistencia en estos días desde su apertura” señala la concejala de Cultura Cristina Mora.
La exposición, que es gratuita, permanecerá abierta hasta el 29 de junio.
Se trata de una muestra didáctica y experiencial organizada por el Ayuntamiento de Fuenlabrada en colaboración con la fundación Sophia, compuesta por 140 reproducciones y recreaciones dirigidas al público de todas las edades.
La estatua del faraón Kefren cuyo original se encuentra en el Museo del Cairo, la de Ramsés II en Luxor, Horus Halcón en Edfú, parte del ajuar funerario de Tutankamón con el sarcófago de oro y la máscara, el trono de Anubis sobre el catafalco, el escriba del Louvre o la Piedra Rosetta del Museo Británico. Una reunión de piezas que harán que sintamos la experiencia de estar en los grandes templos del antiguo Egipto.
La muestra también incluye recreaciones de pilonos (columnas de entrada a los templos) y partes de tumbas; dioramas como la escena de los sacerdotes momificando o la capilla de Sekhet o la de Osiris; una curiosa colección de piezas de Playmobil recreando el reino de los faraones; paneles informativos y documentales; visitas guiadas y talleres familiares.
No es la primera vez que una exposición alojada en el CEART de Fuenlabrada consigue tanto éxito de asistencia.

This is not the first time that an exhibition hosted at the CEART in Fuenlabrada has achieved such a high attendance success. The Star Wars Universe attracted 5,500 visitors in its first weekend and 80,000 in the four months of opening.
