The Las Rozas City Council has received one of the prestigious awards from the XV National Congress of Innovation and Public Services, CNIS 2025, highlighting the best initiatives in digital transformation, modernization, and talent management in public administrations. It is the award in the category of Best Comprehensive Electronic Headquarters, recognizing the Municipality’s efforts for citizens to carry out their procedures quickly, simply, and securely, without the need for travel.
Las Rozas Mayor, José de la Uz, accepted the award at an event held in Madrid last Friday, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Gustavo Rico, responsible for the Digital Office, and its director, Sonia Crespo.
«The Las Rozas Electronic Headquarters already offers more than 350 electronic procedures, with 80% of them going through the electronic registry, and we are making a great effort for the digital transformation of our organization,» stated the city’s mayor, José de la Uz, who also wanted to «congratulate and thank the responsible parties for the Electronic Headquarters, as well as all the officials and employees of the council, and congratulate the other nominees and winners.»
