EMT Madrid will implement a special bus service to connect Príncipe Pío and Aravaca stations due to the works on Cercanías Renfe lines C7 and C10. The service will be free for users and will operate from February 28th to March 3rd, both included.
The special EMT Madrid service between Príncipe Pío and Aravaca will start its route at the San Vicente roundabout, located next to the Príncipe Pío Cercanías station (stop 8372). From there, the buses will travel without intermediate stops through Paseo de la Florida, Avenida de Valladolid, and Carretera de Castilla until reaching the Aravaca Cercanías station, located at Calle Golondrina with Avenida del Talgo (node 3575).
In the direction towards Príncipe Pío station, users must board at the Aravaca starting point located at Calle Golondrina with Avenida del Talgo (stop 3575). From there, the buses will start the route through Calle del Arroyo de Pozuelo, then continue along Carretera de Castilla, proceed on Avenida de Valladolid, and finish the journey next to the Príncipe Pío Cercanías station (stop 8372).
To provide this special service, EMT Madrid will have the first departures on weekdays from the Príncipe Pío starting point at 5:50 am and at 6:05 am from the Aravaca stop. The last service from Príncipe Pío is scheduled for 11:40 pm and from Aravaca at 12:10 am.
Regarding Saturdays and holidays, the first departures will be at 6:15 am from the Príncipe Pío starting point and at 6:30 am from the Aravaca stop. The last service from Príncipe Pío is scheduled for 11:40 pm and from Aravaca at 12:10 am.
The frequency of the free special service between Príncipe Pío and Aravaca will be every 15 to 20 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on Saturdays and holidays during peak demand times.
Furthermore, line 163 (Aravaca Station-El Plantío) will be free for Renfe users carrying the Renfe y Tú card during the four days of the works. Line 163 starts its route at the Aravaca station (node 3575) at 7:00 am, with the last departure at 11:00 pm. From the El Plantío starting point (stop 6257), buses start at 7:00 am, with the last departure scheduled for 11:00 pm.
