As highlighted by the head of the Madrid government, the facilities will be «comfortable, bright, designed to facilitate care for people with disabilities, mobility issues, or the elderly.» «In fact, we always do it this way when we build, thinking about offering the best care in a humane, close, and always with the latest technology,» she added.
Cerro de los Gamos will have two healthcare floors, a basement for parking and warehouses, with an area of 2,619 square meters. The future facilities include ten Family Medicine consultations, nine Nursing consultations, three Pediatric consultations, a breastfeeding room, another multipurpose room, extraction areas, techniques and cures, as well as spaces for ultrasound, emergencies, and minor surgeries.
It will also have an office for the social worker and a Dentistry consultation, along with spaces for administrative support, warehouses, and service and installation areas.
Currently, the regional government is working on 25 new devices for the first level of care in the Madrid public health system, spread across 15 municipalities, which will be operational in the next two years to serve 503,000 citizens. The investment by the regional government will amount to 165 million euros and is included in the Primary Care Infrastructure Plan, which will provide patients with state-of-the-art equipment in more versatile spaces. With this measure, the regional administration responds to the population growth in the neighborhoods that will host these future resources, contributing to improving the healthcare quality of its residents and the working conditions of its professionals.

The Plan includes in the capital the provision of 11 new health centers: Abrantes (Carabanchel), Butarque (Villaverde), Cáceres (Arganzuela) where a complete renovation of its facilities is being carried out; Ensanche de Vallecas II (Villa de Vallecas), Fuencarral (Fuencarral), Montecarmelo (Fuencarral-El Pardo), Prosperidad (Chamartín), Puerta del Ángel (Latina), Quinta de los Molinos (San Blas), Valdebebas (Hortaleza); and Valderribas (Vicálvaro).
The remaining 14 are, in addition to the one visited today by President Díaz Ayuso: Barrio Hospital (Fuenlabrada), Campo de Tiro (Leganés), Collado Villalba, where a comprehensive work for its expansion is being carried out; Dehesa Vieja (San Sebastián de los Reyes), El Molar, Guadarrama, La Tenería (Pinto), Pau 4 de Móstoles, Residencial Este (Parla), Soto del Henares (Torrejón de Ardoz), Tielmes, Valdemoro 3 and Villaviciosa de Odón.

And another five under construction: San Isidro-Quince de Mayo, Alameda-Prado 30, Palma Norte-Universidad, in Madrid capital; as well as Ensanche Sur, in Alcorcón, and Barrio de La Luna, in Rivas Vaciamadrid.
«This challenge can only be achieved with a lot of sacrifices from our healthcare team and our commitment to providing the Madrid public system with the best facilities and the most modern equipment,» said the president.
