The government team continues to prioritize families in all areas, and therefore, with the aim that everyone, young and old, can have fun at the fairground attractions, one of the most important novelties this year is that on Sunday, May 18th, there will be special and reduced prices throughout the day: 2 euros for family attractions and 2.50 for adult ones. This initiative is part of the Family Day, on Sunday, May 18th, a day that the municipal government established last year during the festivities, which was a great success, and for which shows for children and adults, parades, balloon twisting, face painting, healthy habits workshops… have been prepared. Additionally, a free paella will be prepared for over a thousand people.
For the first time this year, a bar for serving drinks will be set up next to the main stage during the concerts, and also, as a novelty, there will be a booth with gluten-free products for people with intolerances.
Free Concerts
The inauguration of the fairground at Parque de Andalucía, the heart of the festivities, will be on Wednesday, May 14th, at 8:30 p.m., with a concert by Dj Pulpo. Afterward, at around 9:15 p.m., the lights of the fairground will be turned on, followed by more music and energy from Dj Pulpo.
The main stage will host concerts by groups such as Los Secretos, Fangoria, Malmö 40, Encanto de Loco (tribute to El Canto del Loco), Walls, or the Orquesta Vulkano. Additionally, this year, the auxiliary stage will offer interesting proposals, with a diverse range of music and groups that will make us sing and dance to the rhythm of great hits from the eighties, nineties… and more. Once again, there will be vermouth sessions, with concerts at 1:30 p.m. (Los inspectores, Darwin, and Cosa de dos), and an evening session at 7 p.m. (Juan Peña).
And for family enjoyment, there are also great proposals, including the show CantaJuego: Mi amiga Buby, which will be on Sunday, May 18th, at 12 p.m., on the main stage.
Of course, all performances in the fairground will be free.
