Madrid begins today the big days of the San Isidro Festival, which will last until next Thursday, May 15. During these days, the city will vibrate with a variety of musical expressions, from the most traditional to the most innovative, with concerts, dance shows, theatrical performances, and live music presentations at four emblematic venues: Plaza Mayor, Pradera de San Isidro, Jardines de las Vistillas, and Matadero Madrid. There will also be activities in the districts, municipal spaces, and cultural centers.
Plaza Mayor
Ángeles Toledano, the flamenco singer, will kick off the program in Plaza Mayor this evening at 8:00 p.m. with the presentation of her first album "Sangre Sucia." Following her, at 9:30 p.m., Amistades Peligrosas, one of the most successful musical duos, will celebrate their 30th anniversary on stage at San Isidro.
Pradera de San Isidro
The San Isidro Meadow will host numerous proposals for all audiences, from the traditional vermouth dance to fun family shows. In addition, the music and party will continue each day until the early hours of the morning.

San Isidro Safe and Inclusive
Once again, Madrid maintains its commitment to an accessible, inclusive, and safe culture so that everyone can enjoy these festivals. The program will include various accessibility measures such as sign language interpretation or subtitles at concerts, as well as vibrating backpacks and hearing aids for the deaf. Additionally, the San Isidro Festival will have violet points as part of the municipal campaign against sexual violence.
The San Isidro Festival program this year is sponsored by Mahou Cinco Estrellas and Dia España. /
