A dump truck has overturned on M-503 road at the height of Majadahonda, causing a major traffic jam.
The vehicle has collided with the guardrail and overturned in the median that separates both directions of the road.
The incident occurred around 9:45 am at kilometer 11 of the road, towards Madrid, and has led to a major traffic jam in the area as traffic has been restricted to a single lane due to the intervention of the Civil Guard, who is handling the investigation.

Emergency services from SUMMA 112 and the Emergency Service of Pozuelo de Alarcón (SEAPA) have been dispatched to the area to assist the driver, who has sustained serious injuries in the accident: he has a chest trauma and lumbar contusion and has been potentially transferred in serious condition to Puerta de Hierro Hospital.
Firefighters from the Madrid Community have arrived to secure the dump truck to prevent the complete overturn of the vehicle. They have also contained the fuel spill.
