The Deputy Mayor of Madrid, Inma Sanz, presided over this morning, in the auditorium of the Palacio de Cibeles, the delivery of quality certifications for 26 service charters of the City of Madrid, which guarantee the conditions under which these services are provided to the people of Madrid.

Sanz expressed the «honor of delivering these certifications because the service charters, which are celebrating 20 years, represent what citizens expect from their administrations: the objective proof that their taxes are being properly invested and the commitment to provide measurable and objective results.»

The City Council has 73 valid service charters, with the latest one recently incorporated after its approval by the Government Board yesterday, undergoing an annual evaluation by the Quality team, in accordance with the criteria established in the charters themselves. In addition to this internal audit, the charters undergo an external certification process, with 94.4% of them already certified.

The certifications were delivered today for the service charters of Attention from the Municipal Police to Women, Minors, Seniors, and Diverse Society; for Unsanitary Conditions in Housing; for the Center for Preventing Cognitive Decline; for Occupational Health; for Funeral Services and Cemeteries; for the Network of Public Municipal Libraries, the Archive of the Villa; for Visitor Assistance; for Foreign Tourist Assistance; for Accessible Guided Tours; for Classes and Sports Schools; for Sports Competitions; for Sanitary Sports Services; for the Activities Agency; for Air Quality; for Environmental Education and Awareness Activities; for Water Management; for Urban Tree Management; for Statistical Information; for the Municipal Population Register; for Consumer Information Office; for Social SAMUR; for Youth; for the San Ildefonso Residence Boarding School; for the Municipal Network of Nursery Schools, and for the Service Charter Management System of the City of Madrid. /
