An impressive fireworks display illuminated the sky of Madrid last night, bringing an end to seven days of intense celebration in honor of San Isidro. Throughout a week filled with activities, thousands of people of all ages have participated in concerts, dances, family shows, and traditional proposals organized by the Area of Culture, Tourism, and Sport of the City Council of Madrid.
Before the grand pyrotechnic finale, the city experienced a final festive day with outstanding concerts in its main stages. At the Pradera de San Isidro, Modestia Aparte and Los Manolos revisited their greatest hits; Plaza Mayor vibrated with Los Brincos and Orquesta Mondragón; Las Vistillas were filled with tradition with Olga María Ramos and Mari Pepa de Chamberí; and Matadero Madrid once again became a great street party with the performance of Orquesta Maremagnum.
The high level of participation and the variety of musical and cultural proposals have once again established the San Isidro Festivities as one of the most anticipated events in the Madrid calendar. Live music, gastronomy, popular dances, and intergenerational activities have made this edition a close, participatory, and tradition-filled celebration. /
