Criminality conventional decreased by 5.6% in Las Rozas, according to data provided by the Ministry of the Interior for the first three months of 2025. Specifically, serious crimes decreased by 31.3%, robberies with violence and intimidation by 46.7%, and home burglaries by 22%. It is also worth mentioning the 73.3% decrease in vehicle theft and a 25% decrease in drug trafficking. Regarding the total crime data in the municipality, there was a 1.1% decrease in the first quarter of the year, offset by a 9.2% increase in cybercrime, following the national trend.

The Mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz, visited the Local Police station to receive the «Report of Actions of the Local Police of Las Rozas in 2024» from the Local Police Commissioner, Manuel López, and the Councilor for Security and Emergencies, David Santos. «We are very pleased with these results from the first quarter of the year, as they are the result of the great effort made by our Local Police, in collaboration with the Civil Guard of Las Rozas. In this report, we can see the large number of programs, hours, and effort that our agents dedicate to ensuring the quality of life of their residents,» said the mayor.

The Local Police carried out a total of 30,488 operations last year and answered 27,394 calls, consolidating its role as a guarantor of the safety and well-being of the residents. This activity has been developed with a focus on resource optimization, digitalization, and closeness to the community.

Among the main lines of action are the area of traffic and road safety, with 11,913 interventions, as well as child protection, with 1,141 operations.

In addition, specialized operations have been reinforced, with 585 interventions by the Gender Violence Unit and 1,426 devices from the Special Security Unit, along with 149 actions by the Canine Unit.
