The Galapagar City Council has presented the 2025 Summer Cinema program at the Plaza de la Constitución.
The sessions will take place at 10:30 pm, with free admission until full capacity is reached. This year, the cycle will feature four sessions of children’s and family cinema, scheduled for alternate Fridays in July and August.
PROGRAMMING OF SUMMER CINEMA IN GALAPAGAR
· Friday, July 11 – WONKA: Based on the iconic character of Roald Dahl, this film tells the story of Willy Wonka’s youth and his early adventures, in a tale full of magic, music, and chocolate.
· Friday, July 25 – HEROES OF CENTRAL PARK: A heartwarming adventure of friendship in New York City, starring a Don Quixote puppet and an abandoned teddy bear, ideal for family enjoyment.
· Friday, August 1 – WISH: THE POWER OF DESIRES: A magical fable about bravery and the power of dreams, starring Asha and the star Star, perfect for the little ones.
· Friday, August 8 – INSIDE OUT 2: The long-awaited sequel to Pixar’s successful film, where Riley faces adolescence and new emotions such as anxiety, envy, or shame adding to the inner adventure.

And in Majadahonda, during the Saturdays of July, you can enjoy four more films for free. The screenings will start at 10 pm at the Parque de Colón, starting this Saturday, July 5.
All movies can be enjoyed outdoors, either in the chairs provided by the City Council at Parque de Colón, or from the surrounding areas.

Saturday, July 5 – WONKA: This musical fantasy film directed by Paul King, stars actor Timothée Chalamet and is based on Roald Dahl’s children’s novel «Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.»
Saturday, July 12 – DRAGON KEEPER: A Spanish film, suitable for all audiences, and nominated for Best Animated Film at the 39th Goya Awards. It tells the story of a girl who helps the last imperial dragon escape from the dungeons in ancient China.
Saturday, July 19 – GHOSTBUSTERS: THE FROZEN EMPIRE. A new installment of the successful saga based on the «Ghostbusters» movie, released over 40 years ago. It is recommended for ages 12 and up.
Saturday, July 26 – SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME. The latest film in the saga starring once again by actor Tom Holland. It is recommended for ages 7 and up.
