The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) will activate the yellow alert for snow in the Sierra tonight, the agency reported through social media.
Specifically, it is anticipated that accumulations of up to 5 cm in 24 hours will occur from 1,200 meters in this area of the Community of Madrid, between 9:00 p.m. this Saturday and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Aemet’s forecast for the Sierra points to a Sunday with frost on the summits and possible scattered fog in high areas at the beginning and end of the day. In addition, a day of light rain and scattered showers is expected, which will be more frequent and intense overnight.
