José de la Uz, the Mayor of Las Rozas, attended the opening of the MOGY Mobility and Sustainability Festival this morning. This event is a benchmark in the field of mobility and sustainability, taking place from today until Sunday at the City’s Fairground. Its goal is to promote, disseminate, and raise awareness about a more sustainable world by showcasing the solutions that companies and institutions contribute to creating clean spaces with the greatest resource savings.
Accompanied by the Fair’s director, Rafael Guitart, and the councilors for the Environment and City Services, Jaime Santamarta, and Security and Emergencies, David Santos, De la Uz toured the different stands of this 6th edition of MOGY. Visitors will find a wide variety of offerings, from testing vehicles and attending talks and exhibitions to enjoying food trucks and live music, not forgetting a meet-up of electric cars.
«Las Rozas is making a strong commitment to electric mobility; 8% of vehicles are Eco or Zero, and thanks to the deductions for both, families in the municipality are benefiting from over 300,000 euros in bonuses,» stated De la Uz.
