New edition of ‘Music in the Templete’ of Majadahonda, a musical cycle with outdoor performances, from Saturday, May 17th to June 28th.
Bands, orchestras, and groups of different musical genres will participate. All performances will take place in the templete of the Plaza de la Constitución and will be open to the public.
The first performance will be by the Municipal Band of Majadahonda, which will interpret ‘A Walk through Spain’ this Saturday, May 17th, showcasing some of the best-known pieces of Spanish popular repertoire. The concert, under the direction of Miguel Fernández de la Peña, will start at 7:00 PM.
Cycle of ‘Music in the Templete’ of Majadahonda
On Saturday, June 7th, it’s the turn of Cuarteto Tierra, at 9:00 PM with a repertoire of rhythms and sounds from around the world like chachachá, rumba, merengue, waltz, pasodoble, and salsa.
The band Linze will perform on Saturday, June 14th, starting at 9:00 PM. A Madrid-based rock and roll group with influences from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, playing versions of great hits.
The cycle closes with a performance by the rock group Pistol Packin’ Mama on Saturday, June 28th, at 9:00 PM. They focus on classic 50s rock and roll.
