A day to promote theater and raise awareness of its value
World Theatre Day was established by the International Theatre Institute (ITI) in 1961 and has been celebrated on March 27 every year since. Its main objective is to promote the significance of theater in global culture, allowing the theatrical community to showcase their work on a large scale and share the joy of this art form with society.
