Robo de jamones y dinero en charcutería de Coslada en Nochebuena.

Four hooded individuals violently robbed cash and six hams from a store in the town of Coslada, intimidating a doorman who tried to prevent the assault, as reported by a spokesperson from the Madrid Police Headquarters to Europa Press.

The incident took place around 3:15 am on Tuesday at a gourmet deli located on Avenida del Plantío in this municipality.

Four young individuals arrived hooded and smashed the display window with mallets and blunt objects, as captured by the security cameras of the establishment.

Due to the loud noise they caused, some neighbors woke up and called the police. Additionally, the doorman working in the building next door approached to see what was happening. The criminals intimidated him and sprayed the booth where he worked with fire extinguisher foam.

Once inside the store, the thieves took six Iberian hams, other quality cold cuts, bottles of oil, and the cash from the register in a matter of minutes, a loot valued at around 6,000 euros, as reported today by the newspaper ‘El Mundo’.

They then quickly fled in a possibly stolen BMW vehicle. The National Police officers who arrived at the scene were unable to catch them and are now searching for them using the security footage from the deli and the testimonies of the attacked doorman and other witnesses.

This establishment suffered a similar robbery last November. On that occasion, the thieves were apprehended after a police chase.
